Using AI and (at the bottom) some personal experiences, we wanted to put together some Screenshot tools for B2B software providers ideas.
GPT4o Mini ideas for Screenshot tools for B2B software providers:
– Create product walkthrough videos that showcase key features and functionalities, helping potential clients understand the value of the software without needing to schedule a live demo.
– Record asynchronous meetings where team members discuss project updates or address common client questions, allowing stakeholders to catch up on their own time while maintaining a personal touch.
– Develop testimonial videos by recording satisfied clients as they navigate the software, providing authentic social proof that can be shared on the company website and social media platforms.
– Use screen recording to create training materials for new users, offering step-by-step guidance on how to effectively use the software, which can be shared in onboarding sessions or as part of a resource library.
– Capture live Q&A sessions with subject matter experts discussing industry trends and how the software addresses them, providing valuable insights for potential clients while positioning the team as thought leaders.
And Llama 3.1 Sonar (from Perplexity.ai) ideas for Screenshot tools for B2B software providers:
– Interactive Demos: Teams can use screen recording tools to create interactive demos that allow potential clients to explore the software features at their own pace. These demos can be embedded in websites or shared via email, providing a seamless experience for B2B software providers.
– Async Meeting Solutions: Screen recording tools can be leveraged to create asynchronous meeting solutions where team members can record their presentations, and clients can review them later. This approach ensures that all team members are on the same page without the need for real-time meetings.
– Customer Testimonials: By using screen recording tools, teams can capture genuine customer testimonials while they use the software. These recordings can then be edited into compelling case studies or marketing videos, showcasing real-world applications of the B2B software.
– Training and Onboarding: Screen recording tools enable teams to create detailed training sessions and onboarding tutorials. These recordings can be shared with new clients or employees, providing a consistent and high-quality learning experience that reduces the need for manual training sessions.
– Sales Enablement: Teams can use screen recording tools to create sales enablement materials such as product showcases, feature explanations, and competitive analysis. These recordings can be easily accessed by sales teams during meetings, ensuring they have all the necessary information at their fingertips.
For my personal experience working by myself and with a team, my recommendations for screen recording tools are:
Focusee – Local, Fast, One Time Pricing
I love this one since it’s all local (no web UI), they have Mac and Windows versions, and the zooming is pretty solid. I’ve used this to record 50+ videos now, and it took my editing time to near-zero.
Yes, this is ranked above Screen Studio for me. If you’re a team with Mixed devices (Windows + Macs), or work with freelancers, it’s challenging to have the Screenstudio limitation of 1 operating system. Focusee avoids that problem. (But, the file formats seem to differ when saved on Windows vs. Mac.)

My fav 3 things:
- I can change how my cursor looks after recording
- I can make simple cuts/timeline editing is not bloated
- Backgrounds can be swapped.
Tella.tv – Online Cinematic Screen Recording
1 word – ANIMATED BACKGROUNDS. (ok, that was 2 words.) This really takes any screen recording to the next level imho.
Right out of the box, you can make the most eye catching screen recording online. Everything can be handled with their Web UI (no app downloads needed). You can download their Mac app if needed.
It’s just simple – Press record, swap out background, and change layouts as needed. Imo, best SaaS option for screen capture.
Check out their free trial here.
My favourite 3 features:
- Team editing (fast) – No uploads/downloads needed to edit
- Animated backgrounds/screen borders
- Layout transitions are gorgeous out of the box.
Screen Studio – The Classic Screen Recorder
I’ve followed Screenstudio for a long time, and many many creators I follow use it. They have a sleek website and the product UI is pretty solid, but compared to Tella, I’m not sure it wins for team usage. (Need to upload/store the .screenstudio files somewhere.)
If your whole team is on Mac, and you have a solid filesharing/media library, it’s a great choice.
The upside? Tella costs monthly, ScreenStudio costs one time. (with 1 year of updates.)

My fav 3 features:
- It looks great
- The creator is active on X/posts updates
- The roadmap has some exciting features.
